Denied Again

We decided to sell our home in California and closed escrow in February of 2015. I made the move to Honduras to continue the fight for my wife. Eduardo was sent to Florida to finish his 7th grade year.
He moved down to Honduras in June of 2015 and our family was finally reunited.

The children are now enrolled in school in Honduras, Alicia in 1st grade and Eduardo in 8th grade. They miss California as we all do. I keep reminding them that God has us here for a season. We just don't know how long that season is.

On August 31st of 2015 we received notice from USCIS that they denied our appeal. Our lawyer said this was strange as USCIS normally processes the paperwork that the state department sends them from the embassy, thus the state department never heard Olga’s side of the story. When Olga was interviewed at the embassy in Honduras, they never asked her about the human trafficking charge. The USCIS, when processing the paper work after we won our appeal for the failure to appear charges, is the agency that brought up these charges, not the state department. Olga was denied due process because she was not in the United States.

Our lawyer said we had three options, 1) Appeal to the Circuit Court on the Due Process. This would be expensive and the embassy can choose to ignore this. 2) See if we can get the Embassy in Honduras to listen to our story. 3) Do nothing and accept the LIFETIME ban the US has given Olga. We have decided to pursue option 2, so far we have not been able to contact anyone who can get us in to the embassy.
